Derek Harkin becomes a Brevard County Sheriff’s Chaplain

I just returned from Titusville, FL where I attended the swearing in of new Brevard County Sheriff Deputies and Chaplains.  I was extremely happy for my friend Pastor Derek Harkin as I watched Sheriff J.R. (Jack) Parker swear him in and give him his badge. Derek is pastor of River of Life Assemblies of God church in Barefoot Bay.  It had the opportunity to meet Sheriff Parker, some of his staff and a former Southeastern College friend. Pastor / Chaplain Pete Inman, is one of the Brevard County Chaplains and pastors Lighthouse Assembly of God church in Mebourne, FL.  Today was a profitable day as saw fruit come from my labors as I connected Pastor Derik to Robby Jernigan for Chaplaincy Training and Roger Alexander for the Brevard County chaplains program.  As I was leaving Titusville, I had to stop by the water to eat my BK Stacker and in doing so I found my spot so I can watch (in person) the next Space Shuttle take off.
